Schloss Tyrol • Tirol Castle

I haven’t been here during summer when it should be in its full glory but I imagine it would be even more magical, with sheep resting along the edges of the cliff. Drive to the town of Dorf Tirol and “there is a car park in front of the mini golf and another one in front of the Bank Raiffeisen, You reach the Castle in about 20 – 30 minutes walk.” Follow the signs. (You cannot drive up there – have to walk from where they recommend you park). This is also very close to Meran, spend here 1/2 day and go visit the city of Meran and Terme Merano Spa after.
